The Kick-Off Meeting of the MSCA Doctoral Network INTEGRATE marked an important milestone, bringing together for the first time all Doctoral Candidates, beneficiaries, partner organisations, supervisors, and consortium members. The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to get to know one another, establish new connections, and begin building the collaborative network that will support the project over the coming years.
More than an introduction to the project, the meeting created an open and engaging space for dialogue, reflection, and exchange. Participants explored both their individual and collective roles in contributing to the successful start and long-term development of INTEGRATE, discussing expectations, responsibilities, and opportunities for collaboration across institutions, disciplines, and sectors.
Through interactive sessions and discussions, Doctoral Candidates gained a clearer understanding of the network’s vision and objectives, while consortium members reflected on how their expertise, guidance, and cooperation can contribute to the success of the research and training programme. The meeting fostered a strong sense of community, shared ownership, and commitment among all participants.
By encouraging open communication, mutual learning, and active engagement from the outset, the Kick-Off Meeting laid a solid foundation for a productive collaboration and set the stage for the scientific, professional, and personal development of the Doctoral Candidates throughout the lifetime of the project.
