DC6: Kian Stenbolt | NKUA

Principal Investigator: Christina Dalla

Kian Stenbolt was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, and pursued his higher education across Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and France.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Fribourg, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Neuroscience at University College London and a Master of Research in Neurotechnology at Imperial College London. He is currently a research engineer at the CNRS Laboratoire de Plasticité du Cerveau in Paris, where he investigates the neurobiology of addiction using electrophysiology, neuropharmacology, optogenetics, and behavioural approaches. Through training in leading European laboratories, he has developed a strong interest in neuropharmacology, neural circuit function, and cutting-edge approaches to psychiatric disorders. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing the piano, and practising yoga and meditation.
