DC15: Charlotte Schiewe | UB

Principal Investigator: Felix Müller

Charlotte Schiewe was born and raised in Geilenkirchen, Germany, before moving to the Netherlands at the age of 20 to pursue higher education at Maastricht University. There, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and subsequently completed a Master of Science in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, specialising in Psychopathology. She is currently pursuing her PhD, where her research focuses on evaluating the impact of controlled self-experience with psychedelics in therapist training. Outside of academia, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and dinner nights with friends.

Principal Investigator

Felix Müller, MD, is a research group leader at the University of Basel. His research focuses on phase I and II studies of psychedelics. His current trials investigate the therapeutic potential of LSD in alcohol use disorder and DMT in depression, as well as the role of personal psychedelic experience in the training of therapists. Within INTEGRATE, he contributes expertise in the design and conduct of clinical trials on psychedelic-assisted therapy. He also brings experience from his work in a professional medical society dedicated to psychedelic-assisted therapy.
